12.30.16 Lillian’s Interviews Peter Hobler, COURAGE To Find The FIRE Within: Invest In Yourself To Discover Your Passion
Peter Hobler, MBA, is the driving force and developer of The 7 Principles of COURAGE, the author of COURAGE To Find The FIRE Within: Invest In Yourself To Discover Your Passion, a keynote speaker on The 7 Principles of COURAGE, the designer and producer of The Get Unstuck… Because Your Life Is Waiting Course ( 2 parts) and a Personal Potential Coach.
Hobler’s passion is inspiring others to live with COURAGE, to realize their potential by taking empowered action so they can live life more the way they really want.
After the sale of his family’s shares of a large private, family business, Hobler had millions. He thought he had everything he ever wanted, mainly because he could do almost anything he wanted.
About ten years after the sale, he financially lost everything. For years, he blamed this on other people and on the dire economic circumstances.
Peter’s epiphany that his own choices and actions were what really had been Responsible for this major loss was absolutely transformational.
The next major personal epiphany was that he was the solution to the situation he found himself in.
Committing to work on himself, he started doing what it took to unlock his potential to be the person he realized he knew he had to be to live life on his own terms.
Hobler’s passionate process and journey led to the development and creation of The 7 Principles of COURAGE.
When not living his passion to inspire others, Peter loves to spend time with his incredible daughter Alie and with his special, beautiful better half. Other passions in his life include skiing, tennis, fitness, travel writing, reading, cooking, the great outdoors, laughter and having meaningful conversations.
Peter graduated from DePauw University, where he played varsity baseball and soccer, and received his MBA from Washington University.
Prior career experience: Beachbody Fitness Coach, Internet Marketing, independent real estate investor, part-time travel agent, entrepreneur in telecommunications, import/export and network marketing. Former jobs: Sales, Client Information Serves, Travel Director (taking top performers on trips).
Peter is a co-founder of Hope Happens for Neurological Disorders, a public charity founded by Hobler and his brother Chris, who lost his battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, on February 16, 2005. (www.hopehappens.org).
