THis is Daniel Riley for Sportstalk on Powertalk Internet Radio.
The investigation into Jerry Richardson will determine whether he’s innocent or guilty.
One thing he’s guilty of is being a distraction to his team that’ll cost them a championship!
Players don’t want to have to answer questions about off-field issues. It’s what cost the ’93 Oilers a place in history. It cost The Falcons a Super Bowl following the distraction that was Eugene Robinson. And Now, no one in Panthers headquarters can focus on winning a Super Bowl because of the distraction that is Jerry Richardson. I don’t see this team winning a Lombardi Trophy, and Panthers fans can partially blame the alleged misbehavior of ownership for that.
