More than any other business, competitive sports does the best job of filling newscasts with stories of dumb lawsuits; The NFLPA’s suit to drop Tom Brady’s suspension is just one in a long line of them.
Virginia suing the University of Michigan after it stole their coach. A Jets’ fans suit after “Spygate broke. Next, we’ll probably hear of Shaquille O’Neal suing Kobe Bryant because of his ballhogging.
Enough is enough; Congress needs to pass legislation keeping acceptable lawsuits in sports to fixing scandals and criminal behavior, because most of these things are similar to the Homeowners’ Association suing someone over a parked car.
The courts have more important matters to attend to; a suspension of an NFL quarterback is not a priority to judges
