11.07.15 when Life Suddenly Takes You By the Hand
Yeah, I substituted Hand for B@… just to be on the safe side. You’re probably wondering what happened to my blogs?
I’m wondering too. It’s been a busy time for me.
My spouse and I are now elected to babysit every Friday with our young grandson. How young? Guess!
It usually takes up most of the day. Then come the granddaughters. Another rite of passage there. And we spend the day in total silence cuz the parent adults don’t speak to us. Sorry, but true.
Then, Wednesday is grocery marketing day. Now, I don’t know about y’all, but it practically takes us the whole day? Why? Good question. For two old foggies, I’m not sure, but it does.
Milk and cheese is hard to find. That’s it!
Then, on Thursday, it’s wash day. And, that takes the whole day cuz our dryer is kind of old, and who can replace a dryer in today’s down turn economy.
I could write a whole entry on that one alone.
Next, that leaves us Tuesday and Monday. Who ever gets anything done on Monday. It’s a leftover day from Sunday. Or the weekend in general.
Which leaves sinister Tuesday. That’s our one and only. It’s also the only day my spouse can glue down our new carpet in our newer basement.
We’re still moving in after only r months. Let’s count them. July, August, September, October, and now we’re officially in November.
Oh wait, I see a light at the end of the funnel.
It’s called, we’re almost there, but not quite.
What have we accomplished since we moved in? The upstairs almost looks presentable. The pictures are all hung. They look cool.
In one of the guest bedrooms, all of the pictures done by my graphic artist son hang in there.
